Establishment of MB Komplex s.r.o.
MB Komplex, s.r.o. was established in mid-1999. However, the company’s history dates back to 1996, when it operated as an independent association of tradespeople. This association laid a solid foundation for the establishment of MB Komplex, s.r.o. The company primarily focuses on engineering and metal fabrication, particularly metalworking and the welding of light structures weighing up to 3 tonnes, as well as welder education and training. Our specialities include welding non-standard metals for technical applications and profile cutting of steel and non-ferrous metals.
As our name suggests, our aim is to provide our customers with comprehensive services. Our sales division also offers:
On 1 January 2000, the company began operating on the premises of the former workshops of the "Sedlčany State Farm" in Vysoký Chlumec. During the first few years, production took place in premises leased from a leasing company.
Purchase of Properties
In 2001, two properties were purchased: a potato storage and sorting facility and a former poultry-rearing building.
In their original condition, these buildings were used primarily as storage facilities for materials and finished products.
Reconstruction of Part of the Former Potato Sorting Facility
During 2005, part of the building originally used for sorting potatoes was reconstructed and converted into a "Laser Cutting Centre".
The renovated section provided a new production area as well as offices for the production supervisor, programmer and production dispatcher.
The production area was equipped with a ByStar 3015 laser cutting machine and a Beyeler PR 250 IPC press brake. The equipment also included two overhead cranes and a STILL R 60-40 forklift truck.
Purchase of Land Surrounding the Premises
In 2006, the restitution claim concerning the land surrounding the company buildings was resolved, enabling the company to purchase the land and incorporate it into its assets.
Reconstruction of the Former Potato Storage Facility
During 2006, part of the building originally used for potato storage was reconstructed and converted into a "Metal Fabrication Workshop".
The renovated section provided a production area for six welders, a robotic welding workstation, a band saw and material storage facilities.
Acquisition of the Administration Building and Metal Fabrication Workshop
In 2008, the lease financing of the main building (the administration building and metal fabrication workshop) was fully repaid, and the property became an asset of MB Komplex s.r.o.
